World Economy and Global Value Chains
An event by the expert group Foreign Trade
After years of globalisation, growth and free trade, international economic actors find themselves in a situation that has never existed before: pandemic, trade restrictions, Brexit, global supply shortages and war make free and efficient international trade and the procurement of goods and services more difficult.
Small and medium-sized enterprises in Switzerland in particular, which rely on global trade, are facing unprecedented challenges.
The expert group Foreign Trade takes up this topic and, together with competent speakers and experts from the industry and the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO, provides information on the current situation. In an exchange with the participants, the aim is to show how Switzerland can master this task as successfully as possible.
The event will be held in German and will take place on 17 May 2022 before the general meeting of Swiss Medtech at the Kursaal Bern.
