We are dedicated to an environment that promotes innovations and start-ups and reinforces the competitiveness of companies.   • You will be given advisory support with the implementation of the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) and can participate in the further education seminars at a special rate.

  • You will have access to our committees, providing you with a specialist network for exchanging experiences and joint activities.

  • You will receive the member newsletter once a month with relevant information regarding the industry, specialist fields and the association.

Membership requirements

  • Ordinary membership may be granted to companies based in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein that operate as manufacturers, dealers, suppliers or service providers in the medical technology sector. 

  • Associated membership may be granted to companies, private or public institutions, organisations and bodies from home and abroad that are not covered by the activity categories of ordinary membership, but have a strong connection to the medical technology industry.

  • All members commit themselves to comply with the Swiss Medtech Code of Ethical Business Practice.

Annual membership fee

  • The annual fee for ordinary members varies depending on the number of employees in Switzerland. It is a minimum of CHF 1,000 and a maximum of CHF 40,000. 

  • Members who generate less than 50% or less than 15% of sales in the medical technology industry only pay 50% or 25% respectively of the annual fee based on the number of employees.

  • The annual fee for associated members is CHF 3,000.
