Specialist in Rehabilitation Technology with federal professional certificate 

As a Specialist in Rehabilitation Technology you are committed to the service of rehabilitating individuals who have limited mobility due to disease, accidents, birth defects or ageing. You are a specialist in the supply, use, adaptation and repair of aids that provide those affected with optimum support in their everyday life. 

Swiss Medtech is the sponsor of the professional examination for specialist in rehabilitation technology.

Training profile 

Training course 

The one-year vocational and hands-on course «Specialist in Rehabilitation Technology» is offered in German at the Feusi Educational Center in Bern. The course in French is run by Swiss Medtech in Bern. 

Target group 

The course is suitable for people who already work in rehabilitation and want to expand their specialist knowledge and skills.

Admission requirements 

A federal certificate of competence or a university entrance qualification as well as at least two years of professional experience at 100 per cent in a rehabilitation company and successful completion of the Feusi course «Specialist in Rehabilitation Technology». 

Qualification and title 

The federal professional examination recognised by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SBFI) is advertised and carried out by Swiss Medtech. Successful examination candidates obtain the title «Specialist in Rehabilitation Technology with federal professional certificate».
