Bern 22 November 2023 – Peter Biedermann is stepping down after six years as Managing Director of Swiss Medtech. He has decided the time has come for a change at the operational helm of the association. The decision was made under consideration of the further development of Swiss Medtech and implementation of the «Medtech in Switzerland 2030» strategy. The Board of Directors would like to thank Peter Biedermann for his invaluable contribution to the Swiss medtech industry and the association: «Peter Biedermann played a key role in the formation of Swiss Medtech through the merger of the two Medical Cluster and FASMED associations in summer 2017. The organizational efforts over the past six years have been challenging and intensive. Together with the Management Board and his team, Peter Biedermann has mastered it brilliantly.
